Welcome to our Blog!

We've got an exciting year ahead of us and wanted a place to document all of the changes that are happening with our family. The big news for 2011 is that we will be adding to our family and Barley will be a big brother to a little brother or sister. While I am only a little past two months along we just couldn't keep the news to ourselves any longer. Here's the first look at the little bun in the oven!
We look forward to sharing our journey from foot loose and fancy free to parenthood with you!

  1. Val and Jeff,

We are so, so excited about your news! What a complete surprise it was! I didn't even know that you were ready for this new beginning. We'll be there to love and support you throughout this new journey. Can't wait to hold my new little grandchild!

    Love you,

  2. Dear Val & Jeff,
How cool is that - yeah! Your bun looks a bit like a fastnacht, though.
Please let us know any time you would like some help, company, a ride or whatever - we are here for you and looking forward to your new bundle of joy.
Your parents' arms are going to be tired holding so many grandkids - good thing your dad got his should fixed.
The very best to both of you, Auntie Kris and Uncle Tim (Mickey too)
